Information, advice and assistance
When people come into contact with social care they are often going through very challenging times and can be experiencing problems in their:

-
Physical and mental health
-
Worrying about their home
-
Where they may live
-
Concerns about money and
-
Experiencing stress in their personal relationships.
These times can be incredibly overwhelming.
People often report at these times that they need to feel seen and heard and be provided with helpful information and advice. Without accurate and timely information people are vulnerable to not having all the information to hand to make an informed choice about their lives. Quality information and advice supports people to make the right choices for them at the right time.
I provide an impartial space for people to talk through their difficulties and to reflect on what may help them and or their families at this time. I help people reflect on what matters to them and what they want to happen, despite difficulties and challenges. I can then help navigate the person towards practical solutions.

I provide a reflective space for a skilled coaching conversation and offer bespoke information and advice.

“Tammy helped us with applying for a power of attorney for my mum but she also gave us invaluable information and advice about what we should expect from social services."

Tammy helped me understand that I was a carer to my dad. This was a game changer as I didn't know about carers assessments and now I have Brian who visits my dad and I can get out for a bit.

My wife has dementia and in the early days it was a nightmare - I wasn't ready for sorting things out at that time but it was so important to be able to speak with Tammy about what I was going through.
